# Piroa Conservation Trust > Community-led predator control, weed action, and biodiversity restoration > across 25,000 hectares of the Piroa-Brynderwyns, eastern Northland, > Aotearoa New Zealand. Run by volunteers and supported by the Department > of Conservation, Northland Regional Council, and Ministry for Primary > Industries. The Trust coordinates funding and resources for dozens of community groups working on pest control, weed management, water care, native planting and bird monitoring.
